Land of the Fairies

What an amazing day!

Sights, stories, food, folklore - and mostly a day of sunshine, which almost never happens on Skye! 

The highlight of my day was climbing to the top of this precipice!

If you've seen that incredible YouTube video of the extreme mountain biker on Skye, The trail at the top of this looks so much like it! And I did it too! Holy breathtaking! It was in a beautiful 'secret' little area called Land of the Faeries - and this was the top of the faerie castle. So the story goes. What a thrill to find this and walk the path!
